Report from Coach Mike:

What a weekend!!!

It was a more than rewarding weekend coaching Team WOSC. While times aren’t the only measure at this point in the swimming calendar, the attitude, application, and communication displayed were just a few of the positives. What stood out most for me was the mindset of everyone who competed!

I’d like to give a special mention to Leah (Gold Squad) for an unforgettable 100m backstroke and Karem’s (Youth Performance Squad) swims, which were executed at a true performance-athlete level!

Medalists included Karem, Olivia, Evie, Julia, Amelie, Paris, Charlee, Abergail, Orla, James & Leah. Well down all. We also had a great time winning some of the hot heats hosted by Dover Swimming Club.

A huge thanks to Nikki, Jon, Sue, and Steve from Team WOSC for an outstanding job in team management and officiating over the two days!

Teamwork is key to our success. Let’s stay focused and bring on the next competition!
